Audio File 4: Olga Zubova

V–A–C Sreda online magazine completes its three-month programme dedicated to air in art and culture.

In this issue, we present a work by Olga Zubova, a multidisciplinary artist and researcher of sound art and auditory culture. Especially for V–A–C Sreda, the author has created a sound walk that invites slow listening and attentive observation. The rustle of the wind, random conversations, street music, and other everyday “events” come together in a multifaceted sonic experience that deepens the sensual perception of reality. Among the questions the artist invites us to reflect on are: Do the boundaries of imagination exist? How does the body feel in space? And what are the stories told to us by the clouds?

For full submersion, we recommend using headphones, with the noise-cancelling function turned off.
