These some of the questions posed by Francis Haskell’s book The Ephemeral Museum: Old Master Paintings and the Rise of the Art Exhibition, which was the subject of a conversation between V–A–C Foundation curator Andrey Vasilenko and the art historians Ilya Doronchenkov and Natalia Mazur.
