Your Turn: Culture of Board Games

This issue of V–A–C Sreda online magazine marks the launch of a new series of podcasts dedicated to games, produced in collaboration with the Tolk audio platform.

The second episode deals with board games in Russia. What are their tendencies, genres and topics? Who can create a board game, and what is required to do that? What is the main audience of such games today, how does the Russian market differ from the Western one, and could there be more behind a simple board game hobby??

These and other questiones are discussed by V–A–C Sreda editor Maxim Shibaev, founder of Igroved game stores Alexander Peshkov, Head of Game Deisgn Programme at HSE University Anatoly Kazakov, and collectioner of board games Sasha Rymar.
