Blooming Water: Questions of Bio-philosophy 

V–A–C Sreda online magazine continues its three-month podcast series on water and its significance in culture, art and folklore, in collaboration with the Tolk audio platform.

This issue is dedicated to the philosophy of plants. What is plant studies? What do humans, water, and plants have in common? How do corn roots make sounds? Are plants able to feel, and how is the time-space of a bean arranged?

Maxim Shibaev, an editor at V–A–C Sreda discusses these and other questions with Ekaterina Kozyreva, a geophilosopher, and Ulyana Strugovschikova, a biosemiotics researcher and a fellow in Interdisciplinary Problems in Scientific and Technological Development at the Institute of Philosophy of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
